California privacy policy
A closer look at your information and your choices as a California resident.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This notice supplements our main privacy policy and describes our current practices. Read the privacy policy.
Information we collect and where it comes from
You, your event host, and people you invite provide account and contact details, event dates and locations, RSVP responses, family headcounts, photos, and messages. When you use the service, we receive technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, invitation views, and session identifiers. If you enable reminders, we store the browser subscription needed to deliver them. If you purchase a pass or printed product, our providers process payment, billing, and delivery information. Kiddofest receives transaction records, not your full payment card number.
How we use and disclose information
We use this information to authenticate accounts, run invitations and guest activities, store memories, make books, fulfill purchases, answer support requests, and protect and improve the service. Hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, payment, and print providers receive the information needed to perform those services. Your host can see RSVP details and contributions. Other people can see content the host makes available through an invitation, party, or book link; those links can be forwarded.
Advertising and direct marketing
We do not sell family photos or guest lists to advertisers. Our service integrations support authentication, analytics, payments, and fulfillment rather than cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. You can contact us with a California Shine the Light inquiry at support@delugeworks.com.
Access, correction, and deletion
Hosts can update account and event details and use Delete Account in Settings. Guests can update an RSVP through their invitation and ask the host to remove a contribution. You can also email support@delugeworks.com with a request to access, correct, or delete information. Describe the account or event involved, but do not send passwords or payment card details. We verify identity and authority before disclosing or deleting private information. Some transaction records, operational backups, and information required by law may be retained.
California privacy rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our processing, California residents may have rights to know and access their personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and receive equal treatment for exercising those rights. The application of these rights depends on the law and the circumstances. This notice does not represent that Kiddofest currently meets the CCPA business thresholds. Contact support@delugeworks.com about a request or an authorized agent acting on your behalf.
Browser signals and analytics
Necessary cookies and session information keep sign-in and invitations working. Optional analytics helps us understand use of the service. Browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change how our service works. We do not use the service integrations described here for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide legally required choices, including support for applicable opt-out signals.
Children, retention, and updates
Kiddofest is for adults organizing family events; children do not need accounts. Parents and guardians should decide whether a child’s information or photos are shared. We retain information for the service features you use, security, backups, and legal obligations, as explained in the main privacy policy. We will post an updated date when this notice changes and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Contact support@delugeworks.com with questions or concerns.
